Hailing from Omaha, Nebraska guitarist and songster, Tanner Ledenbach, brings a fresh yet deeply rooted sound to the modern jamgrass scene where high-energy improvisation meets outlaw country grit and a touch of laidback groove. Blending the fearless spirit of the jam with the storytelling soul of a rambler, their music lives somewhere between a back yard picking session and a late-night festival throwdown.

 

Raised on a wide spectrum of sounds throughout his musical journey Tanner has for, over a decade, been undyingly drawn to and inspired by the boundary-pushing bluegrass of Jeff Austin, Tony Rice and Billy Strings, the genre-bending likes of Leftover Salmon, the raw, rebellious honesty of Waylon Jennings, and the free-spirited improvisation of the Grateful Dead. As a producer and former performer in the hip hop community in Omaha, he uses the experience he gained and all the real energy of the past to bring a whole different sound. As a Winfield attendee he cherishes an intimate picking circle playing old time fiddle tunes and learning from fellow players making lasting community for lifetimes.
